Damn Small Linux basiert auf Knoppix und ist mit seiner Größe von nur ca. 50 MB eine der kleinsten Komplett-Distributionen. Trotz dieser geringen Größe enthält sie einen SSH- und Webserver, sowie einen VNC- und Sambaclient. Der Musikplayer XMMS eine Textverarbeitung und alle wichtigen Kommandozeilenprogramme sind ebenso integriert.
